Westinghouse WavetalkTM.

The Westinghouse Wavetalk^™, is the marine version of the Westinghouse Series 1000 Mobile Satellite Telephone System.   Wavetalk^™ provides secure digital communications to commercial mariners and pleasure boaters without the high price tag or oversized and bulky equipment of other satellite telephone systems. The Wavetalk^™ satellite telephone provides voice, dispatch radio, facsimile (fax) and data satellite communications throughout the MarineSat coverage area (MarineSat Coverage Map) Since the Wavetalk^™ is digital, it provides private secure communications without the need of operator assistance. All outgoing and incoming calls are direct-dial service through a geostationary communications satellite positioned 23,000 miles above the earth.  The Wavetalk^™ is accessible by both satellite and land-line telephone connections.

Westinghouse Super High Gain Stabilized Marine Dome Antenna

Westinghouse has both a single channel and multi channel Super High Gain Stabilized Marine Dome Antenna to facilitate the Series 1000 satellite telephone. With Remote talk Plus TM by Westinghouse, multiple communication lines can be operated through a single satellite antenna system. The system is offers a capability of up to 8 individual communication lines handling incoming and outgoing calls. The Remote talk Plus TM provides direct-dial, secure and private communications through digital technology. Service feature include individual billing and debit card operations, along with call forwarding, call waiting and conference calling. These functions are supported through services provided by MarineSat.

Expandable telephony allowing the direct connection of a touch-tone or cordless telephone as an extension, or the connection of a PBX unit, giving multiple standard telephone access
