This graph shows the full potential of the ICOM wireless LAN. Simpler LANs are also possible. For example, peer-to-peer networking can be set up between individual PCs equipped with SL-1105 PCMCIA wireless LAN cards without the use of the AP-3 Wireless Access Point. SL-1105The SL-1105 is at the heart of the ICOM wireless LAN system. It is a PCMCIA wireless LAN card capable of networking via TCP/IP, NetBEUI or IPX/SPX protocols with other SL-1105 cards within the coverage area.
SB 1100The SB-1100 has been designed for connecting two or more remote LAN networks together. It is a good choice for campus LANs, or any other situation that requires a unified PC network throughout multiple buildings. The SB-1100 is water resistant to JIS-4 standards, and can be mounted outside.
AP-3The AP-3 Wireless Access Point is a smart choice for those who already have a traditional wired LAN in place, but want to expand the capabilities of their network to include wireless access. The AP-3 is a traditional 10/100 auto switching hub, and a wireless access point for the SL-1105 wireless LAN card equipped PCs, both at the same time.
