Anchor Marine Supplies was formed in June 1982. In the beginning there were five staff members handling an average of 10 to 12 ships per month. Since this humble beginning, Anchor's business has progressively expanded to over 200 ships each month. In addition Anchor handles the initial stores for new shipbuilding in Korea and Japan.

Anchor's has continued to build its business by the strong recommendations of ship owners and attending superintendents and owner's representatives whose satisfaction with exceptional service and competitive pricing has helped Anchor in its continued growth.
